We find ourselves in this land inside of India but not of it…  Not unlike the Vatican in Rome. It is the home of highly spiritual and idealistic humans from over 30 countries working to create a society based on higher consciousness.

We arrived with monsoon rains making our entrance to this land of high vibrations feel quite unreal….  The energy that night was so intense and uncomfortable that I debated heading back to Pondicherry and waiting for Mark there…. After lots of meditation and centering I have softened into this magical place. I can feel my mind, body and soul opening and shifting but  don't really understand what it is doing…. We are definitely on a major energy grid of mother earth that is being intentionally nourished and tapped by this community. Soon we will be able to enter and meditate in the Matrimandir , which is the main temple of the community and actually feels like it has the power of a futuristic pyramid except that it is a dome.

In every sense this is a blossoming Tantric community…. Reaching into heaven fully grounded in the earth. The architecture is peaceful, beautiful, grand and fully integrated with nature. This place, that was a desert 36 years ago, feels like a rainforest. The sounds of nature are constant and full and rich….  It is a peak into human potentiality and what the garden of Eden could look like in the 21st Century.

There is a seed here from which humanity can expand. If our future could look anything like the vision of the founders of this community  we will have evolved into a place of unity and harmony. This is not Utopia and there are many issues they are working on but it has such promise of a bright future.
