Our journey is becoming real after many months of planning and preparations. Tickets bought, visas received, shots taken, and the empty back-pack is sitting in my room. My time has become measured as every minute here has increased in value.

The time spent with my sons this weekend has had an extra sweetness in its quality… I know I will spend 6 weeks without seeing them and its a long time….

As I look around my world, share with my friends, chat with Mariana, I can already feel the loss of the rich life that I will take sabbatical from…. There is a lot to leave behind in order to create the space for a new journey of discovery….

I have no idea, no expectations, of what will transpire in those 6 weeks in India… I assume I will get know a lot about myself as Mark and I navigate the mystery which is India.
